Company

About Yazi

Yazi changes the platform research runs on. We run AI-moderated interviews, surveys and diary studies inside WhatsApp, so people answer in the app they already use, in their own language, in voice notes, photographs and video rather than tick boxes. Against traditional email and SMS approaches we see response rates around six times higher, and the gap is widest in emerging markets, where email-based research struggles most.

We operate across 25 or more countries, working with global research agencies, with enterprises directly, and with NGOs and universities. Yazi sits at the intersection of SaaS, research, AI and services, which makes it a fast-moving company in an even faster-moving category.

We publish our own research too. Our most recent public report reached more than 11 million people and ran in over 25 publications. We recently closed our first institutional funding round and are scaling quickly, and we are at the point where the next few people shape what this company becomes.

The role

The role

We are looking for a Growth Marketing Manager who can think strategically and execute exceptionally well. This is not a role where you write briefs and wait for other people to make things. You will decide what Yazi says, where we show up and what we test, and then build the campaigns, content and pages that turn attention into qualified pipeline.

One week you might build a campaign around a new product feature. The next you could turn original research into a story with real reach, rebuild a landing page that converts, write the sequence that follows it up, design the assets that carry it, or help launch a global report.

You will own the day-to-day execution of Yazi's growth engine, working directly with the Head of Marketing and Insights, the CEO and Commercial. You will have support and strategic direction, and a number to hit, but we need someone who does not have to be managed day to day: someone who spots an opportunity, takes it, and runs.

Responsibilities

What you'll own

Demand and pipeline

  • Own a pipeline target with marketing, and decide how to hit it.
  • Develop and execute integrated campaigns that build awareness, demand and commercial opportunity.
  • Build the landing pages, email campaigns, lead capture and follow-up that turn interest into conversations.
  • Work with Commercial on lead quality, handover and sales enablement material, and close the loop on what actually converts.
  • Test messaging, creative, offers and channels, then use the performance data to improve.

Search and AI discovery

  • Own how Yazi shows up in search and, increasingly, in AI answers. A meaningful share of our inbound comes from people who asked ChatGPT or Claude for a recommendation, and staying in that answer is a real part of this job.
  • Build the content, structure and proof that make Yazi the obvious thing to recommend.
  • Keep the website content current, accurate and working hard.

Content that compounds

  • Own the marketing and content calendar from planning through publication, and hold a consistent weekly publishing rhythm.
  • Turn our own research, client data and customer stories into campaigns, content franchises and data visualisations built to travel.
  • Create, schedule and manage content across Yazi's channels and key leadership profiles, including LinkedIn, email and YouTube.
  • Spot the cultural and industry conversations Yazi can credibly enter, and stay close enough to the research world to know what people in it actually want to read.
  • Develop ideas designed not just to be published but to earn attention, conversation and organic reach.

Product marketing

  • Understand Yazi deeply enough to market it intelligently across both software and services.
  • Translate product capabilities into clear customer benefits and strong positioning.
  • Own the marketing side of product launches: messaging, demos, explainers, case studies and customer proof.
  • Work across Product, Insights and Commercial to find the stories worth telling.

Brand and creative

  • Create high-quality assets across social, digital, presentations, reports, events and sales collateral.
  • Write sharp, simple and memorable copy, and translate complex research and technology into stories people actually want to read.
  • Bring strong graphic design ability and visual judgement across typography, layout, hierarchy and storytelling.
  • Drive brand consistency. Yazi's brand is a little mixed across touchpoints today, and part of this job is making the site, the deck, the product, our reports and our channels feel like one company.

Measurement and operations

  • Track the metrics that matter, from attention through to pipeline, and be honest about what worked and what did not.
  • Form a view on what each activity should return, and move budget and effort towards what does.
  • Manage the marketing schedule, production pipeline and deadlines so work consistently ships.
  • Coordinate internal contributors and external partners where needed, and keep brand and marketing asset libraries organised.
How we work with AI

AI is part of the job.

We see AI as a working partner, not an occasional productivity tool. You should already be using AI to make yourself faster, more creative and more effective, and you should naturally ask how it could help you do a thing faster, better or differently.

  • Use AI for research, ideation, copy development, creative exploration and rapid prototyping.
  • Use AI to analyse performance, repurpose research, support design and video production, and automate repetitive workflows.
  • Experiment with new AI tools and build them into Yazi's marketing workflow where they create leverage.

Knowing how to prompt ChatGPT is not the bar. Using AI to meaningfully increase the quality and volume of what you can produce is.

Requirements

What we're looking for

You will likely have 3 to 6 years of relevant experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, but your body of work matters more to us than the number of years on your CV.

  • Demand generation or growth marketing experience where you carried a number, whether that was pipeline, qualified leads, signups or revenue influenced.
  • Experience taking campaigns from strategy through execution, and the discipline to follow them through to what they returned.
  • Strong marketing fundamentals with excellent copywriting and storytelling ability.
  • Graphic design experience or demonstrably strong design ability. You should be able to create, not only brief.
  • Hands-on social media, content creation and channel management experience, ideally in B2B.
  • Comfort with the growth stack: landing pages, email and lifecycle campaigns, CRM data, analytics and attribution, and the judgement to know which numbers are telling the truth.
  • Strong working knowledge of modern AI tools and an AI-first approach to getting work done.
  • An understanding of SaaS and product marketing, including how to market both software and services.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Commercial awareness. You can think about where the return on an activity comes from, decide where to place the bets, and use data to improve creative and marketing decisions.
  • A real sense of ownership. If something needs doing, your instinct is to work out how to get it done.
  • Comfort with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or equivalent.
Bonus

Nice to have

  • SEO, AEO or GEO experience, and a genuine interest in how AI recommendation is changing discovery.
  • Paid social and paid search experience, and a sense of when paid is worth it and when it is not.
  • CRM, marketing automation or lifecycle marketing experience.
  • Webflow, or comfort building and shipping pages yourself.
  • PR, earned media or media relations experience.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, technology, AI, market research, insights or data.
  • Experience building founder-led or executive social channels.
  • Event marketing and conference presence.
Ways of working

How you'll work

Own the number. You are comfortable being measured on what marketing returns, not only on what it produces.

Make it. You can move from idea to copy, design and execution without needing a large support structure around you.

Move quickly. Priorities change and opportunities appear unexpectedly. You can adapt and ship without lowering the bar.

Have taste. You know the difference between something being technically finished and genuinely good.

Think commercially. Marketing is not decoration. It should build awareness, create demand, strengthen the brand and help grow the business.

Experiment. You are willing to try things, learn quickly and change direction when the evidence says you should.

Stay curious. You want to understand research, AI, WhatsApp, SaaS, our customers, culture and the markets around us.

Outcomes

What success looks like

  • Marketing generates qualified pipeline consistently, and we can see where it came from.
  • Inbound keeps growing, including from people who found us through search and AI recommendations.
  • The weekly marketing and content calendar runs reliably without constant oversight.
  • Product launches have clear positioning, strong creative execution and customer proof behind them.
  • Original research, client data, customer stories and product capabilities consistently become marketing assets that travel.
  • We know more than we did about what drives attention, engagement and demand, because you tested it.
  • Yazi has a consistent, distinctive and recognisable brand across every channel.
  • The distance between "we should do this" and "it is live" gets dramatically shorter.
The offer

What we offer

  • A market-competitive package, depending on experience.
  • A meaningful equity stake, with a one-year cliff and four-year vesting.
  • Budget for tools, learning and professional development.
  • A clear target, real ownership, and the freedom to decide how to hit it.
  • Visibility and recognition. In a team this size the work you make is seen immediately, by everyone.
  • Three months probation, with reviews at three months and then every six.

This is a chance to do more than maintain an existing marketing machine. You will help build it.

Applying

Sound like you?
Apply for this role.

Do not just send us a CV. Show us what you have made: campaigns, brands, social content, designs, videos, websites, writing or other projects you are proud of.

Tell us about one campaign where you moved a number, what you did, and what happened.

We care about how you think, what you can make and the quality of your judgement as much as where you have worked.

Yazi is an equal opportunity employer. We hire for capability, character and mission alignment.
